She made it clear that she didn't have time for me as my appointment had been fitted in. Left in a hurry. It was an unpleasant encounter.

Dr. Kirshner has left me feeling dismissed and gaslit in both visits I've had with her. I decided to give a second chance thinking she may have been having a bad day the first time I saw her and with her being recommended my my previous PA, I wanted to be fair. Unfortunately, she makes me feel unwelcome and stupid right away. I have been experiencing an array of health problems for over a year and the reason I went t her was for help in developing a team because it's clear that there need to be other specialists involved in my care. I most certainly have almost all of the symptoms of a specific medical condition that is very expensive to detect but also a low life expectancy because of the severity of it. She was so off putting that I almost immediately clammed up and felt unsupported around her that when she asked me what other symptoms I had besides the very clear and obvious ones, I couldn't even name the other symptoms because I was so caught off guard and did not feel supported to share anything with her. It was clear that she was going to dismiss the research that I have been forced to do on my own trying to discover what is happening to me because the current medical system is not set up to help. I get 20 minutes to state my claim and they just tell me to come back in 6 months. Dr Kirshner does not seem to have any compassion and maybe needs to retire. I'm sure that after having worked through covid, there is some callousness, but it is clear that she is unsatisfied. Once she realized that I was frustrated, she did look into specialists that could help, but the damage was done, and the trust was broken. I left that visit in tears after having waited for so long for help. I will never see her again and I do not recommend her to anyone.

Allison is amazing. I need to stop recommending or she will have 3000 patients and no quality of life!!!! Love her!
