Dr. Bescak is one of only 500 Board Certification-certified lipidologists in the U.S., and one of only seven in Arizona. As a lipidologist, Dr. Bescak specializes in the multidisciplinary branch of medicine that focuses on lipid and lipoprotein metabolism and their associated disorders. An abnormal lipid profile is widely considered to be a leading indicator of heart disease. The treatment of lipid abnormalities is essential in the prevention of coronary artery disease and peripheral arterial disease.
Prior to relocating to the Verde Valley, Dr. Bescak was in private practice for 30 years in Elyria, Ohio.
Education and Certifications
Dr. Bescak received his medical degree from the Ohio State University, Columbus.
He completed his residency and a fellowship at Creighton University Affiliated Hospitals, Omaha, Neb.
Dr. Bescak is Board Certification certified in lipidology, internal medicine and cardiovascular disease.

    Dr. Kenneth Bescak is a phenomenal doctor - the kind I hoped still existed. He truly listens to his patients and takes the time to explain the workings of the heart and the role of cholesterol in clear, understandable terms. He welcomes patient input and was the first physician I've ever seen who asked in detail about my nutrition and exercise habits. His depth of knowledge as one of the most renowned lipid specialists in the Western United States is extraordinary. I feel genuinely fortunate, privileged, and honored to be his patient.
