I enjoy helping patients recover from acute cardiac illness and providing them with education to improve their cardiac health.
Mackenzie Lurie, MS, PA-C, is a board-certified cardiology physician assistant with the Cardiovascular Institute at Northern Arizona Healthcare.    
Expertise and Special Interests  
Mackenzie specializes in hospital-based cardiology and critical care. She has been in practice since 2003. 
Education and Certification  
Mackenzie earned her physician assistant credentials at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Mich.; her master’s degree in physician assistant studies at Wayne State University in Detroit; and her bachelor’s degree in movement studies from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Mich. She is Board Certification certified through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Mackenzie believes in showing every patient compassion and in explaining their diagnoses and medical plans in terms they understand.
