Sarah Salce, DNP, AGACNP-BC, is a board-certified nurse practitioner with the Cardiovascular Institute at Northern Arizona Healthcare.
Philosophy 
Sarah believes in striving to make sure that her patients feel heard and understood. Shared decision-making is important to her, and she wants to help her patients make the best care decisions based on scientific evidence as well as their own values and preferences. 
Expertise and Special Interests 
Sarah’s main area of expertise and interest is advanced heart failure. 
Education and Certification 
Sarah earned her doctoral degree in nursing practice at the University of Illinois at Chicago and her bachelor’s degree in nursing at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Ariz. She completed a post-graduate cardiovascular nurse practitioner fellowship at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle. She is proficient in the Spanish language. 
Sarah is board-certified in adult-gerontology acute care by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

    Sarah was very kind and professional throughout my visit. She explained everything very clearly and precisely. She felt a stress test / echo cardiogram was needed and explained the different ways this test can be done. She helped me decide which one was best for me.

    Sarah Salce is a professional provider. She provided excellent and concise Echo test results. All explanation was well received and understood. Her presentation was open, direct, and offered any question or clarification to assure the test results were understood and accepted. Recommend her professional patient centered care.     I've had health issues my whole life which has left me very wary of doctors who can have very dismissive and unpleasant attitudes leaving me with ptsd when it comes to seeing doctors so I was happy to inform my provider that my experience with her was EXCELLENT ON EVERY LEVEL!
