He completed his internal medicine internship at St. Joseph’s Hospital and his adult neurology residency at Barrow Neurological Institute, both located in Phoenix, AZ. He also completed a neuroimmunology and multiple sclerosis fellowship at the Tisch MS Research Center in New York, NY. Dr. Zigelbaum holds a dual bachelor’s degree in neuroscience and English from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, NY.

Dr. Z WAS great. We had a lengthy, detailed discussion about my MS history, and care by non-MS Specialist at a different facility.

Dr. Z was the 1st provider who really explained how MS immune meds really work. Spoke to me in a respectful manner, made me feel comfortable and never spoke down to me as some MD's can. Dr. Z, is easy to talk with & professional.

No shared decision making, just a prescription for a condition I don't have. Not even discussion of possible side effects of the medication.

Dr. Zigelbaum was awesome. He spent a lot of time with me and answered all my questions. He didn't look down on me. He came down to my level and explained things so I could understand it. He didn't talk over me. I highly recommend him because he is just a breadth of fresh air. Please hire more people like him.

I was amazed with how knowledgeable and thorough this doctor was. He's the best neurologist I have seen. He took the time to explain things to me, and I came out with a better understanding of my condition than I had before. He listened to my concerns and worked with me find solutions. He really made me feel like he was a partner in my health and was invested in positive outcomes from my treatment. He was awesome!
