George Rodway, PhD, NP, believes in the power of deep listening. He takes time to answer each patient’s questions, ensuring they feel heard and fully understand their care options.
Medical Specialty:
George’s fascination with sleep disorders began during his work as an academic researcher. He later transitioned to clinical care, becoming a full-time clinical sleep nurse practitioner.
Professional Achievements:
A member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, George serves as the standing president of the International Society for Mountain Medicine. He earned his PhD in nursing from the University of Pittsburgh, a master’s degree and post-master’s certificate in nursing from Kent State University, and bachelor’s degrees from the University of Akron and Ohio State University. His academic achievements include receiving the Orr E. Reynolds Award from the American Physiological Society. He also co-authored numerous publications on sleep medicine.
