I was assigned to Dr. Bocchicchio I did not request him. So for him to say it was a waste of his time to see me was a shock to say the least. How was I to know I was wasting his time. It does not matter that he has been doing this for 21 years, his bed side manners needs some adjusting. I don't plan to see him again.

Rude; seemed like he didn't want to listen. Acted as if I should speak on his level about procedures performed prior to seeing dr. due to a hosp. stay. Not everyone has a medical degree.

Dr. Bocchicchio was obviously very knowledgable, but seemed disdainful about what had previously been prescribed for me by previous cardioloogists. This was unsettling, to say the least, although I'm pretty sure he was right. He was also curt in his replies when asked what I believed were reasonable questions, although in his defense, I would say that my records were somewhat confusing, largely because of how many cardiologists had seen me previously.

I left this appointment feeling it was the worst appointment I've ever had with any Dr in my entire lifetime. He showed no interest whatever in trying to become acquainted with me during this initial visit. He did not bother to ask what actions I was currently taking to manage my health. He was visibly annoyed when I tried to converse with him. He demonstrated no concern whatever in trying to treat me as an entire person, saying merely "I looked at your lab results and I'm prescribing this additional medication."

Mark is a recent addition to cardio staff. His communication style leaves much to be desired. He seemed indifferent and very abrupt. Did not show any empathy for the patient. Just started tests without any explanation. I do not want to go meet with again even though a follow up was scheduled.

Dr. Bocchicchio was very professional, he went over everything and gave me great comfort in diagnosis, and understanding how urgent or important certain things were versus things that I didn't have to worry about as much. Explained and worked with me on a solution and was very personable and caring as well. Very grateful for this experience because it helped me a lot.

Dr. Bocchicchio was my cardiologist during a 3 night hospital stay. Dr. B. And his team discovered that my Aortic Stenosis Is now severe. He also did a procedure to check my arteries to know What steps were next concerning my bicuspid valve. My last echo was moderate. He immediately took action, and I am so very thankful for him. I have not felt well, and episodes involving blood flow have been frightening. He went over the function of my heart and why I was feeling some symptoms and made me feel well taken care of. I have a surgery scheduled at Flagstaff Medical thanks to his findings and immediate referral. I saw him today in his office for the first time, but I will be seeing him as long as we live in the Verde Valley. I have already transitioned from my office I used in Phoenix. I have also given my neighbor his information. My husband and I are extremely appreciative of Dr. Bocchicchio.
