Dr. Tran specializes in gastroenterology and colon cancer prevention. He treats a wide range of conditions, including constipation, diarrhea, dyspepsia, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), gastrointestinal bleeding, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), peptic ulcer disease and liver disease. He performs a variety of procedures, including colonoscopies and upper GI endoscopy (EGD).
Professional Achievements:
Dr. Tran earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and completed his residency and fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. As a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Gastroenterological Association, Dr. Tran has authored abstracts and peer-reviewed journal articles in the field of gastroenterology. His award-winning research has been presented at both regional and national conferences.
