Dr. Randy Nagarakanti believes that investing time in active listening is the foundation of a strong patient relationship. Medical Specialty

Dr. Nagarakanti is a cardiac electrophysiologist who specializes in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of heart rhythm disorders, identifying and correcting problems with the heart's electrical system. Electrophysiology is his favorite part of cardiology because it is a rapidly evolving field, offering patients access to the latest advances in rhythm-related care.

Professional Achievements

Dr. Nagarakanti earned his medical degree from Bangalore University in India and completed his residency in internal medicine at Jefferson Abington Hospital. He went on to complete a fellowship in cardiology at Louisiana State University, followed by a fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology at Vanderbilt University in Tennessee. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) in both cardiovascular diseases and clinical cardiac electrophysiology and is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and a Fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society (FHRS).
