“I enjoy helping people and seeing my patients smile after applying a successful treatment plan.”
Philosophy
Mr. Boffeli believes that everyone experiences the best quality of life through movement and independence. His desire to help people regain mobility drew him to a career in orthopedics. He educates his patients about their injury and maps out their care journey so they will be comfortable and confident in their treatment. He wants his patients to feel empowered and well-informed so they can work directly with their provider to make the best decisions regarding their orthopedic care treatment.
Experience and Special Interests
Mr. Boffeli started in health care as an RN in a burn/trauma ICU and has been working as an orthopedic nurse practitioner at level 1 trauma facilities ever since. His expertise and interests include diagnosing and treating orthopedic pathology, with a focus on arthritis and joint pain treatments and traumatic orthopedic injuries. He integrates holistic medicine into his patient’s care plans when appropriate which includes acupuncture, herbal supplements and therapeutic injections.
Education and Certification
Mr. Boffeli is a board-certified family practice nurse practitioner. He has been published in the Journal of Arthroplasty, presented at the 2014 American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons annual conference and was a part of the surgical team that implanted the first transcutaneous osseointegrated transfemoral prosthetic implant in the United States.
