Valerie Van Ravenswaay, DO, MPH, treats every patient as an individual. As a doctor of osteopathic medicine, Dr. Van Ravenswaay takes a whole-person approach to health care, focusing on the connection between the mind, body and spirit to help patients achieve their full health potential.

Dr. Van Ravenwaay is a family medicine osteopathic physician with specific interests in preventive medicine, osteopathic manipulation (OMT), lifestyle medicine, nutrition, fitness and weight loss. 

Professional Achievements: 

Dr. Van Ravenswaay earned her medical degree in osteopathic medicine from Ohio University in Athens, OH, where she also completed a pre-doctoral fellowship in osteopathic manipulative medicine. After graduating, she completed a family medicine residency through Texas A&M Health Science Center at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Bryan, TX. Dr. Van Ravenswaay’s master’s degree is in public health, which she earned through a joint program at The University of Toledo and Bowling Green State University in the Toledo, OH, area.
